Four Seasons Hotel Mykonos – A New Place to Stay this Summer

One of our favourite hotel brands will open its second Greek address next month with a 94-key Cycladic village cascading down to a private Aegean beach at Kalo Livadi. Guests can stay from 26th June 2026, so be sure to make your reservation soon, we’re sure this will be one of this summer’s hotspots.

Set on the western side of Kalo Livadi Bay on the island’s quiet southern coast, the all-new property extends down rocky cliffs through landscaped terraces and gardens to a private stretch of beach.

“Four Seasons Hotel Mykonos is set to elevate the traditional Greek island vacation to an entirely new level of serene luxury,” says Adrian Messerli, President, Hotel Operations for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, framing the hotel as an invitation to venture beyond the beaches and nightlife and connect with Greek culture more meaningfully.

A Cycladic village by the sea

Designed by the acclaimed Greek architect Nicos Valsamakis in classic Cycladic style, the hotel covers six hectares and is laid out like an intimate village, its 94 accommodations reached via shaded stone walkways, flowering gardens and quiet courtyards conceived by landscape architect Helli Pangalou. The cliffside setting means every room and suite has a panoramic water view and a furnished terrace, with many featuring private plunge pools that appear to spill towards the sea. Sustainability has been built in from the start, with desalinated seawater, solar energy and advanced waste management throughout.

Dining by Rockwell Group

The restaurant line-up has been designed by New York’s Rockwell Group. Álef is a Mediterranean wood-fired grill served indoors or on a sprawling terrace; Kafeneo reinterprets the traditional Greek coffee house, equally suited to an early start or an ouzo at sunset; and Corbu brings coastal Italian cooking and a dash of la dolce vita. The Beach serves cocktails, juices and coffees from morning to dusk. Private dining runs from 24-hour in-room service to a 15-seat private room at Álef, ideal for wine-tasting evenings or mixology classes.

Spa, beach and family appeal

The spa, designed by Wimberly Interiors, has seven treatment rooms, which include a couple’s room, a larger suite and an outdoor pavilion. There is also a terrace juice bar, sauna and steam room facilities, with a 24-hour fitness studio, outdoor spinning studio and yoga pavilion for guests keen to maintain their fitness routines. Down the hillside, the hotel’s private beach offers a place to unwind or make a splash with a variety of water sports to choose from. The resort also has two infinity pools with views to the Aegean, lined with loungers and light bites on offer along with attentive service, making poolside relaxation very easy. Families are well catered for, with the ‘Kids for All Seasons’ centre, a supervised kids’ club for ages five to 12. There are also curated activities for teenagers, including interactive sessions that bring Mykonian history and Greek mythology to life. Babysitting services are available upon request, and a collection of suites and connecting rooms all make for a perfect Mykonos family hotel.

For guests who wish to venture beyond the hotel walls, this may be tricky when there is so much to enjoy here, private yacht expeditions and day trips can be organised to depart from the hotel’s private jetty. This is the perfect way to explore quieter islands, go beach-hopping and discover Delos, the legendary birthplace of Apollo.

The main town of Chora is approx. 20 minutes away and with regular shuttles and private transportation organised by the hotel, guests can explore the picturesque stone streets and whitewashed buildings that are home to many designer boutiques, art galleries and casual cafes.

Part of a growing Greek footprint

Mykonos is the brand’s second address in the country, designed to pair with Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens on the Athens Riviera. For those who wish to combine a city and coastal break, the two are linked by seamless transfers of around three hours by boat, 30 minutes by plane or 20 minutes by helicopter.

Four Seasons Hotel Mykonos is confirming reservations for arrivals from 26 June 2026.
