Bvlgari Unveils The Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendar Watch

Bvlgari continues to redefine the codes of luxury watchmaking with ever-more innovative creations such as the new Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendar, a remarkable tribute to Italian technical prowess and aesthetics.

Bvlgari has made a name for itself in the Haute Horlogerie landscape, pushing limits and setting new records, notably with its Octo Finissimo watch. After exploring ultra-miniaturisation in automatic movements, as well as the minute repeater, chronograph and tourbillon, Bvlgari presents the Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendar, the world’s slimmest perpetual calendar timepiece. This is the seventh record in seven years for Bvlgari following the tremendous fresh momentum that began in 2014.

The new watch is available in two variations: the signature titanium model like all Bvlgari world record timepieces and a platinum version. The new watch once again features technical mastery allied with the Maison’s signature design aesthetic. Traditional watchmaking embraces resolutely contemporary aesthetics for striking sophistication.

The Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendar contains no fewer than 408 components. Bvlgari engineers had to devise new solutions and miniaturise the components assembled in the limited space of the slender case, spotlighting the Maison’s true genius in miniaturisation.

In addition to being a technical feat, the horological complication is imbued with a wondrous sense of magic. The perpetual calendar symbolises our relationship with time, a fluid concept that imparts a rhythm to existence and human activities, and has never been entirely tamed.

This is the Italian Maison’s most accomplished horological complication ever. The Perpetual Calendar is a talented reinterpretation that melds traditional watchmaking excellence and Italian aesthetic sensitivity.

Owners of either version titanium or platinum will be able to read the time without every worrying about having to adjust calendar indications…until February 2100…thanks to the mechanism created by Bvlgari.
