Interior and architecture firm 1508 London led the redesign, honouring Cape Town’s evolution from a bustling trading port to a modern cosmopolitan hub. This renovation marks the beginning of Cape Grace’s new chapter as the first Fairmont Hotel in South Africa, joining a prestigious collection of 90 distinctive properties worldwide.

The revamped interiors celebrate South Africa’s diverse narrative, reflecting its stunning landscapes, multiple languages, vibrant art, and rich cultures. Handpicked artwork from local artists adorns the hotel, and materials have been selected to create a contemporary, understated look that blends seamlessly with Cape Town’s natural surroundings. The 112 rooms and suites, featuring large French windows or balconies, offer breathtaking views of either the Marina or the iconic Table Mountain.
