With much of its terrain above 2000 meters at the foot of the majestic Mont Blanc, Chamonix offers some of the best freeride resorts in the world. From beginner’s slopes to challenging runs, there’s something to suit every experience level. And with an upmarket après-ski scene, it’s long attracted affluent winter sports enthusiasts. If you’re travelling in a group or planning a lengthy stay, it’s important to find the right base for your adventures. Les Rives d’Argentière offers a choice of large chalets, individually designed and sleeping between ten and fifty guests.
Location, Location, Location
Les Rives d’Argentiere occupies a prime spot in this stunning valley, with internationally renowned slopes right on the doorstep. As well as the incredible vistas provided by the imposing mountain, the four chalets sit beside the picturesque fast-flowing River Arve. A range of boutiques, trendy bars and restaurants are a few minute’s walk away, as is the ski lift, famed Les Grands Montets cable car and Plan Joran cable car, taking you to the Argentière glacier.
Geneva airport is just over an hour away via the resort’s private transfer service and if you wish to explore further afield, a 4×4 valley transport service is on hand – the nearby town of Annecy is well worth a visit, as is a trip to a Swiss or Italian spa.
Tailored To Your Needs
These exclusive chalets can be hired individually, by combining two for a larger capacity, or as a complete entity perfect for snowy winter weddings and large-scale corporate ski trips. Opt for a self-catered package if you plan to sample Chamonix’s dining delights on a daily basis or do your own cooking. Self-catering includes daily cleaning, all linen, towels, toiletries, firewood, floral arrangements, a fruit basket and an arrival pack including grocery essentials.
Book a catered package for the ultimate in Alpine pampering. In addition to the benefits enjoyed by guests staying on a self-catering basis, your own private chef will prepare your daytime meals and opulent nightly four-course dining. You’ll also enjoy a supply of unlimited beverages, champagne and canapes on arrival, a hot tub drinks service, breakfast in bed, allocated host and concierge to arrange lift passes, delivery of ski equipment and more.
All guests have access to underground parking, a fitness suite with hammam, home cinema, playrooms, an office suite, ski boot storage spaces, the library, a wine cellar and a selection of video and board games. If you fancy a day off from the slopes, there’s so much to keep you occupied here.
